Soft food
Dear all,
a couple of questions about soft food.
1) I heard of people adding spirulina, pollen and brewer's yest to commercial soft food, if you use those ingredients, can you tell me in which proportions you mix them?
2) Anybody using boiled seeds? I'm aware that they loose a lot of vitamins and nutrients however they are easier to prepare. Since commercial soft food has almost all the birds require in terms of nutrients the boiled seeds could stimulate the appetite and nutrition of the youngsters. What do you think?

Hi,
thanks. Your English is good! Why do you boil seeds only sometimes? :-)
Is it safe to leave boiled seeds for a day to the birds? Or is there risk of fungi contamination?
