Green droppings

Hi there,

I have a gouldian male making watery green droppings. What can be the reason? In this period I'm not giving green food. Moreover the male doesn't seem to be sick at all.

Hello,
is more than necessary to finish what has changed at a given bird in the last time before the sparse droppings. Transfer to another cage, food change, add / Decrease bird in a cage. Any other changes.
Soft faeces can be dulsedkem stress need not be related only with the serving of food. Anyway TSUS analysis would probably nejvhodnesjim methods to identify whether there can be some kind of serious medical problem.

je vice nez nutne dopsat co se zmenilo u daneho ptaka v posledni dobe pred ridkym trusem. Premisteni do jine klece, zmena potravy, pridani/ubrani ptaku v kleci. Jakekoliv jine zmeny.
Ridky trus muze byt dulsedkem stresu, nemusi to souviset pouze s podavanou potravou. Kazdopadne rozbor tsusu by byl asi nejvhodnesjim zpusobem zjisteni zda se nemuze jednat o nejaky zavaznejsi zdravotni problem.

Hello.

I suppose that this question will be answered by the veterinar, too.

From my experience I can write just that changing of scat color is an indicator of poor health. Because you haven´t write the composition of ration yours birds, it´s not possible to answer your question responsibly.

But if you breed with the germinated seed it may be that trough the germination process came to the mistake and so to the multiplication of yeast or some bacterias.

Anyway I recommend to you give the scat for the analysis to exclude an infection sickness.

I recommend to use an charcoal and skip for a time using a germinated seed. Breed just with the dry seed until the result of analysis.

Predpokladám, že na túto otázku odpovie aj veterinár.

Z mojej skúsenosti môžem napísať len toľko, že zmena farby trusu je indikátorom zhoršeného zdravotného stavu. Keďže nepíšete zloženie kŕmnej dávky u vašich vtákov, nie je možné sa zodpovedne vyjadriť.

Ak však podávate naklíčené krmivo, je možné, že počas procesu klíčenia prišlo k chybe a teda k namnoženiu kvasiniek, či nejakých baktérií.

V každom prípade by som vám odporúčal dať vzorku trusu na rozbor, aby sa vylúčilo prípadné infekčné ochorenie.

Odporúčam podávať drevné uhlie a vynechať naklíčené zrno. Podávajte len suché krmivo, až do výsledku rozboru.
